Mishka. Mich. Misha. Michellochka.

I have even more passions than I do nicknames.  As a true Aquarian, I was born a rapt observer, unremitting question-asker, and student of the world. My journey has seemingly always been in search of inspiration, wonder, and purpose. I love learning all the ways I can grow in order to show up as my best self and live the most beautiful high-vibrancy life possible.  Literally, if I could spend my days in a crystal-lined zen den burning palo santo, reading books, learning from inspiring teachers dressed in pretty long flowy dresses while taking movement classes and eating delicious healthy food I would. Just kidding. Maybe. Maybe not.

A life-long New Yorker I received my MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from NYU immediately following my BA in Psychology and Russian.  Again, I love learning and I am proud to be a nerd.  Following grad school, I’ve spent the next 15 years in Global HR for some of the biggest media and tech companies in the world including Paramount, NBCUniversal, and Disney.  I worked hard and became recognized for my initiative and creativity in designing efficient processes, driving best practices, and launching solutions that led to improved productivity and employee engagement.  Fathoming myself an “Organizational Fixer” I excelled at picking apart process and procedure to put them back together in a more efficient manner.  Additionally, I truly loved helping people and I was getting to do that daily by building better workplaces.

As my professional career progressed I continued to spend a massive amount of time on my personal and spiritual growth.  Connecting back to myself and my spirit was like drinking water and I found myself dehydrated whenever I wasn’t imbibing in that vital connection.  Combine that with just being a total learning dork and you get a woman on a mission to learn absolutely everything about wellness, health, spirituality, productivity, and balance.

More than anything I love learning from inspiring women and have always gravitated towards successful women seemingly managing it all beautifully in a quest to learn to be just as magnificent as them. The women I really wanted to learn about were women trying to balance career aspirations with a strong spiritual and wellness practice.  Where were those “woo-woo” working women? Where were those women living a high-vibrancy life AND killing it professionally? Obviously, we all know the famous ones like Oprah, Amal, or Sheryl but I wanted to know more about those everyday women that aren’t in magazines or on television. I wanted to find extraordinary women whose everyday purpose was to grow and expand; their businesses and organizations, their minds and well-being, their families and relationships, and their spirit and souls.

It was with this mission in mind that I created Woo Woo Working Women as an online lifestyle space with curated content on wellness, career, spirituality and style.  The purpose is to provide access to expansive, inspiring women through interviews as well as post articles with tools that assist women in recognizing their fullest, most beautiful lives.  I want all women, seeking to live a high-vibrancy life, to see it is possible and fun to be spiritual, healthy, successful, and to look and feel fabulous doing it all.

Welcome to Woo Woo Working Women.
